Sturdy large tray

My little one came from a farm where he was kept in a wire cage. While he immediately started using the tray, I needed a box with higher sides to avoid accidents. I thought it was a good compromise - a box with high walls and a similar bottom to what he had before. Pros: large with high walls for privacy, sturdy slatted floor, slatted floor easily removable for cleaning, perfect height for a young rabbit. and shouldn't be a problem for old rabbits getting in or out. Cons: 1. The included pots are not a bonus. They don't absorb moisture very well and need to be changed more than once a day, which is a large and unnecessary expense.2. There is a small ledge that the bottom of the trellis rests on. If your rabbit has a habit of digging in the corner, be careful when cleaning the floor. Per runs along this edge and sticks to the bottom of the grid. Not the biggest problem, but it's something to be aware of when disassembling. Either wipe it off immediately or put an old towel next to it to install.3. The waste area under the grate is fairly shallow. I can do 2 days between cleanings with a rabbit. If you have more than one or plan to be away, make sure the babysitter is comfortable with the drawers tucked away or perhaps used without the grate.4. The size is big like it takes up little space. At the moment my rabbit is in a larger pen than the photo shows, but the photo shows the traditional rabbit "habitat" sold in pet stores which I have used as a quarantine/hospital cage. higher sides. It just takes longer to clean and wash than a standard litter box.
