I'd like to give this five stars because it's a comprehensive kit that would be great for a beginner. There are basic directions for the drill and acrylic powders and there are all the needed tools to do your own set of nails at home, including buffers, slips, brushes, a cuticle wand and files; plus, there's nail cleaner, powders, base and top coats, and glue. Even if you mess it up, there's plenty here to practice and get familiar with all of the products, even practice fingers!The problem that I have is that -- as soon as I opened the box -- I could smell that something was open; and, sure enough, one of the primers had opened and spilled all over much of the inner contents. As a result, I had to spend a lot of time cleaning many of the products before trying them, and that was a huge hassle and shouldn't happen in shipping. It's not like something broke inside; rather, the top wasn't twisted well enough to remain closed.So, I'd say that this is a great kit to try if you're interested in doing your nails at home; however, I hope that the manufacturer knows that there's a problem with packaging and that needs to be sorted out before shipping.
