my girls like this kitty in general. Any artificial pet they can play with is great for them. You love the way it looks. We had trouble getting him to respond to applause. As you can see in the video, my daughter kept clapping her hands and it took a few tries to get it working. I can understand that it's not overly sensitive to noise, but the need to clap really, really loudly in front of its face makes it hard to enjoy when you have to constantly hover over it to get it working. There's also a "Touch" option to make it responsive, but that's a bit of a heavy touch on the back and again makes it less comfortable because you have to be in front of it all the time to get it up and running bring. It's cute and does what it says on the tin but the response isn't 100% so I gave it 1 star.
