I've had a Zagg keyboard case for a few years and while it works great the thin tablet feels like a prehistoric stone tablet. I also wasn't using the keyboard like I thought I would, so I decided to skip the setup and look for a basic case with kickstand functionality. It's thin and the tablet slides easily into the hard part of the case. I will also say that I wanted it to be accommodating, not suited to smaller tablets. The case really puts my mini to sleep and wakes up every time which is great. I then spent a few minutes trying to figure out what a "stand" was. My other iPad does it differently so I went back, looked at the pictures and voila! I've already thought about it. In general I like it. The standing part is great as I use it as an alarm clock and now instead of trying "I just sunk your gunship" (it always lay flat in my other setup) and poking at the screen without fully realizing when it did and go. and maybe I'll get lucky and hit the snooze button ---- I can easily see the screen and easily snooze or turn it off. I also use the stand as a holding device when watching TV or just to use it. Being easier on TON made me love my iPad Mini again.
