The glove does the job. Your hand will not burn when you wear it. However, this is a pretty bad fit. I have small hands (I'm only 4ft 11in) and these gloves are a bit big. When the glove is fully on I have about 1/4 inch of fabric left over my fingers. The glove also feels bulky, but that may be due to the extra fabric. The grips were also annoying. It became more difficult for me to collect strands of hair. I ended up taking the glove off and putting it back on while I styled my hair. With this glove it is quite difficult to style your hair and use a magic wand.
