I was going to use these to repair several different pairs of earrings and also to make my own snap earrings but the first batch was damaged and did not contain 10 pairs of earrings and the others were included, seemed unfinished, filled with mold, poorly finished, matching the pierced ears! The hook diameter was too thick to fit my small, newly healed piercing. So if you don't have a lathe or other jewelry/metalworking tools/supplies I would look at other options for this type of item.
