The bag is definitely made of leather, because you can smell the leather bag as soon as you open the packaging. will be more than 9 inches at the bottom. It is 9 inches long. As seen in the photo, the bag had a 1/2 inch wide rope hanging down in a V shape. The front spikes have a shorter "V" shape than those on the back of the bag. The inside of the bag has a strong magnet to close the bag. The bag has two pockets. Zipper pocket and pocket. The same size on the inside of the back of the bag. There is another pocket on the back of the bag. The strap is not adjustable but I'm sure you can cut the leather strap and tie a knot as that will keep the strap in place. (photo shown) I'm 5"6" tall touching the top of the bag where my legs meet my hips and 9" from there down. It may be long for a short person but perfect for one tall person.It is suitable for iPhone 8. Plus vertically and horizontally.I just wish it had an adjustable strap as an option.
