Ideal for personal or commercial use

Media failed to load. I use a portable ozone generator when I travel last year. I don't trust COVID hotel rooms these days so I prefer to turn it on in my room for about half an hour before using it. This requires me to be out of the room for about 90 minutes total, but it protects me. I wanted a different solution for home use as I can't leave the house while it's running. I thought this would be the perfect solution. I can place it in a room behind a closed door and control it with the included remote control or the optional Smart Life app. I don't have to worry about ozone leaking under the door and temporarily exposing me to something I'd rather avoid. I love the simplicity of this sanitizer and feel more comfortable in my home knowing it's as germ-free as possible. The manufacturer specifies an area of 646 square meters. ft. the maximum coverage area which is roughly 20 x 32 ft of space so the coverage area is quite large. With the remote control or the Smart Life app, the sanitizer can be operated in either pure UV mode or UV mode with ozone. . The device has six lamps, three for each of the two modes. Only three lamps work at the same time, and the number of lamps that work depends on the mode selected. Although I cannot measure the effectiveness of this device as I am not a testing lab, I can confirm that there is definitely a strong smell of ozone when using ozone lamps. So I assume the room is properly sterilized. Although the disinfectant can be started directly on the device itself by pressing the power button, it only works when all lamps (UV and ozone) are on and runs for the set 30 minutes. In addition to setting the mode, you can set the timer. configured to run the device for 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes. To control the sterilizer, you must use either the remote control or the Smart Life app. Both work with the device in the same way. On the remote control or in the application, select the power, the timer, and then the mode. After a 10 second countdown, the sterilizer will turn on. The mode can be changed during operation, but the timer cannot. When you press the power button, the device turns off immediately. When trying to follow the instructions, I had trouble connecting the sterilizer to the app. The instructions weren't clear. I suggest you follow this procedure. Download the Smart Life app and create an account if you wish. Creating an account is optional. Press "+" to add a device, select the Lighting section, select the last item (Light modulator (other)). You will then be prompted to set up a gateway (WLAN). Select Configure and then add your 2.4 WiFi credentials. The app will now search for your device. Press and hold the sanitizer power button until it flashes red, then tap Confirm in the app. The app will then automatically add the disinfectant and open the disinfectant control panel. I find this device the best for home or office use. While it can be carried around and used when traveling, in my opinion the case and lamps are too flimsy to withstand the abuse you would expect during shipping. If you had put it back in the box it came in and transported it that way, it would have been properly protected. But since there are other alternatives that are better for travel, I'd go for these if that's your main purpose for this device.
