I hate carrying a purse so I won't. I use a shoulder phone mount that has everything I need. But when I'm working, I need something to carry my lunch, tablet, etc. in. I struggled with the replacement. This one looked perfect and then I wondered what size to go with. So I went for the smaller version and it's absolutely PERFECT in every way, right down to the inner pockets and the extra shoulder strap. The only thing I would change about it is to add some grommets at the bottom so when it sits flat it doesn't sit directly on the canvas. Otherwise I LOVE this bag!
