Review on 🚢 Baby Jogger Glider Board for City Mini 2, GT2, Select Strollers - Black: Easy Attachment & Smooth Ride by Johnny Wheat

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very happy! We have a city selection 2016 with .

Really happy! We have the 2016 Urban Selection with second seat, trays, urban flip, triple top with tummy support, trays and weather cover so I can say I know a bit about baby joggers. We also bought a City Mini GT as a present for my sister. I was looking for something for my 4 year old to take on short trips when he wants to go out, as well as something to keep him close/safe when he doesn't want to hold my hand or is being dramatic. I read a ton of reviews and was so undecided if it would work or if I would like it. I love my 2016 City pick, apart from the fact that the seats don't fold down, which makes a huge racket for me and the trays. Do not get me started. I'll be the first to tell you that the design team really missed out on some features for such an expensive stroller. But this gold plated plaque is great! It's bigger and taller than I expected. Very durable, it makes the crease a bit heavier but I'm a healthy/strong person so I don't mind. When I use it in my city choose to hold it as close to the stroller as possible when the parents look at my 1 year old in the up position and extend the Handel bar, it works GREAT. I'm 5'8 with a long stride and I don't kick it. I meet him here and there, but that's not the point. My legs go down a bit but it doesn't affect my crotch. My arms can't be relaxed so I can see how awkward it gets to push for hours, but whose child would want to stand for that long. After 45 minutes my son wants his seat/brake when walking/standing. You can't comfortably use it with the top seat forward because then you have to widen the board and then you'll definitely kick with the kick. The board folds up, which I like when we're not using it. I had no issues with the board's tires when going backwards or spinning in circles as several people have mentioned. This is absolutely what I was looking for. My son jumps into the parking lot, jumps into the doctor's office, and comes back after we meet! It's so nice not to put him in the stroller and have his hands free for a second and I can give him more freedom! I also tried this on my Summit x3 Twin and it didn't work. It hooked well but the handles get in the way and there isn't enough length. And because of the foot brake, you can't roll completely to one side.

Pros
  • Holds a child weighing up to 45 pounds
Cons
  • Low repairability
