This monitor stand is well designed, balanced and sturdy. It took 30 minutes to assemble, tighten and attach the VESA+ monitor. It's simple, attach the stand to the base, install the VESA plate on the TV/monitor, and then slide the VESA/monitor onto the stand. . Boom, that's all. My desk space is limited to a bookshelf/speakers directly behind the stand + I use a dual aluminum vertical laptop stand for both MacBook Pros so they don't get in the way of the monitor. To make room for a laptop stand, I simply rotated the stand and screwed it to the base leaving 5 inches between the back of the monitor and the stand. Everything is easy. The aluminum finish looks amazing on Apple products. My old Samsung monitor died so I jumped at the opportunity to snag a large white and silver LG monitor/TV tuner for my MacBook Pro.It's time to raise the monitor to eye level too. - a good product, albeit a bit pricey.
