In summary I bought this and from 3 other brands all the same size and they all offered the same as this one. They are very thin, look nice, if you like the pattern I have red and blue. No matter the brand, they all shrink no matter how you wash or dry them. Cold water, hot water, hot water, direct drying, external drying, drying, cooling drying. No matter what, all 10 checkmates from 4 companies have declined. I have 2 young guinea pigs in a 25x48 area and we have just ordered more, now that they are a bit bigger I wish they had more space. I still use them but I won't buy them again because they are thin and smell bad after the piglets go to the toilet and then. I wash the cage 2-4 times a day, I was hoping they would deal with the smell better but they didn't. This is a good price if you are willing to change your pads twice a day instead of every day. They wash easily and stay nice, look normal, don't fall apart or anything, just not thick enough and have no odor control. Although the hay seems to shake off easily. I like that they have a pattern as others are usually simple solids, but the thickness and durability of the odor control is more important to me than pattern or color options.
