FA196HH on 2004 VTX1300C in front and still loud after 200 km. Sound like squeaking sand under light to moderate braking. Old factory pads installed, no sound. The last sound the soundpads made was a thump as they hit the bottom of the trash can. New factory upholstery ordered. Recently had the same issue with the rear brake on a DRZ400SM with EBC pads and also had it sent back to the factory. Not sure what's wrong as I've been using EBC for years but not anymore. Both combine well with slight heat fade. I hate creaks and grinds.
