Allows you to connect a computer without an Ethernet port directly to a modem or router

. This is great for connecting my computer directly to my modem or router for WiFi troubleshooting. My current laptop doesn't have an ethernet port, and when my router started having problems, tech support couldn't help me unless I could connect my computer directly to the modem. It was an inexpensive way to do this and saved me from having to borrow a computer.
