The laces are not adjustable.
I was hoping these laces would fit my rather narrow foot. When they arrived I found the laces were sewn to the tongue so don't tie them tighter. This should be stated in the description. I took the cuticle scissors and carefully trimmed the threads and now I can put the shoes on to fit my foot. It shouldn't be necessary and I might ruin the shoes. Otherwise, they are comfortable with good support.
