These are hand reading glasses. I have bifocal glasses that I wear most of the time, but I also have contact lenses tuned for distance vision only, and when I wear those contacts, I still need readers for close vision. I like to wear contacts when I'm active outdoors, and with these compact readers that come with a protective case, I'm quite pleased with the ability to, for the most part, abandon wearing glasses, but when I need to read or focus up close, these little guys come in very handy. I'll be ordering another pair.or two. so that I have a back-up set.Also--the quality of the magnification seems on par with any other OTC reader glasses, and better than the cheap ones that I own.
