I was looking for a sturdy desk tray for my laptop and mouse while sitting on the couch. I'm a student so it's very important to have good back and neck position while working on the computer, so I needed something to lift my laptop off my lap so my neck wouldn't get stuck in the down position all day remains. So far I think he's doing his job. I tuck the table legs between the cushions so everything is in one place. Love the texture of the wood and the little soda can holder. It holds my 15.6-inch laptop and mouse fairly well, although there's not much room for a mouse pad either. The only thing I would change is add a way to raise it higher so you can adjust to your preferred position. Also, the cup holder is only 1" deep, so don't expect polar pop music or anything like that to fit comfortably.
