Was looking for a filter that would not only remove lead, chlorine and other common suspects but also something that would remove fluorine. I also need tasty water and am tired of buying bottled water. These should also be budget filters/replacements. Now I can give my pets better water and cook with filtered water. So far this filter works for me. I haven't tested the water so I can't provide before and after ppm or anything. But all I can tell you is that the price was affordable and my water tastes much better. Customer service so far has been excellent. When I received my filter, I went to the Home Master website to register my filter. That night I got a call that they had sent 2 of my free rubber grip pads. As for installation, it was quick and easy. I needed pliers to tighten the nozzle on my faucet to keep the water from spurting out. But it was still very quick and easy.
