My typical shoe size is 8.5N and I usually wear a 9 in running shoes. In length, 9 fits well with soft running socks. The heel is narrow and fits my foot perfectly. However, the toe box is wide and the forefoot can slip left and right. This is in contrast to other New Balance shoes I have where the shoe is narrower from heel to toe. I think the insoles are soft and I like the color so I'll probably leave them on and experiment with the insoles. The color I ordered is Charm, a light pink with a taupe or gray cast. Definitely not pink gum. I think this is a good neutral color as it goes well with black, grey, brown, pink, olive, white and all shades of blue. I wouldn't wear it with red, yellow or coral.
