Works well but a bit small. Most russet potatoes will not fit all the way in. I have to cut most potatoes in half or at least cut off one end to fit inside the potatoes. I haven't measured it, but I have a rough idea that it can fit around 4-4.5 inches, and even then it takes quite a bit of force to push it down. It's with regular rusty potatoes, so I'm pretty sure it won't work with sweet potatoes. Pros: - Does the job. - Affordable price. - Changeable grid sizes. Cons: - Only small potatoes. - Relatively difficult to press. The smallest grid is still a bit big, I wish they were even smaller.
