My new Blu-ray player only has an HDMI output and my 20 year old 7.1 surround sound receiver only has RCA inputs. My receiver and speakers are too good to throw away so this product saved me a ton of money! Easy to set up and unlike similar products, some of which are more expensive, it comes with a wall charger. This is the COMPLETE package! I'm deducting a point because I notice a slight flicker when the DVD has a scene with a lot of white. I've read online about possible flicker issues with HDMI to RCA connector converters and vice versa (I checked for loose cables, another possible culprit). If I find out that the HDMI to RCA converter is not the problem I will update my rating to 5 stars.
