Installed by myself in about an hour without installing any additional door lock actuators as my truck didn't have power door locks but this kit plus actuators took care of that . Just look for your car wiring guide and follow the diagram they give you. Tip: Install an alarm in the rear step bar or above the glove box to make it harder for criminals to find you. The update worked fine for a week when a remote broke. The unlock button stopped working, my other remote now has no image on the LCD, it locks, unlocks and lights up, but I have no idea if it's locked by the remote or not.
