Review on Compatible Rainsoft UF 50T Filter CFS by Fred Novak

I agree with the other 1 star reviews. The quality of these filters is in no way inferior to Rain Soft filters. I bought them and so far I have had to flush the system and empty the tank several times without much help. The taste is terrible and has a strange (not clean) taste. Definitely plastic or chemical taste. I put water in the filter with the picture and it helped, but it didn't do the trick. My TDS doesn't show it until puberty after the post filter, then falls into the single digits for a while, but still tastes bad. TDS is initially higher when left overnight and tastes worse. Then after some use throughout the day it gets better, especially when I empty the tank in the morning. This seems to me to be telling it will take on that plastic taste if it sits in the system for too long. The membrane was from Rain Soft and is less than a year old. The water was fine until I put in these 2 filters. I don't buy here anymore.
