Foreword: I work in engineering and will be very picky about this product but I think it's correct. I bought 5 of these for my team to test and here's why we don't like them: Installation: Mac Book Pro 16 inch via USB-C (with USB-A to USB-C to MBP adapter) Camera: Drop in performance regardless of internet connection (I had a wired one) No matter what I or my teammates did, the camera stuttered/lagged. Maybe it's a problem with Macs and using adapters? I'd love to test further if you Marantz has suggestions Stand/Form Factor: A very inflexible build and no matter what the pictures show (they're "lies"), you'll never look at your interlocutor (think about it for a second) , unless you put a giant stand IN FRONT OF the screen. So it's already less desirable/flexible in terms of usability than the typical "top-of-the-screen" design, frustrated by the limitations of where you can place it. I understand there are wires in there, and it rotates left/right, but again, is's placement gets in the way of this all-in-one concept. Looks great, doesn't it? But here you are locked into a very limited form factor. Microphone placement: Marantz has a good reputation when it comes to microphones so this showed promise, but the microphone placement is so terrible it's useless. Think about where the microphone is. Directly on the countertop, where it picks up EVERY soft sound. Not to mention that when you press their very durable buttons to mute your camera or microphone, they make a very loud "pop"-like click. The only way to use them is to set up external headphones/mics that you plug into the side. Okay, it works, but it's annoying as hell for some people. Also, you don't want to be on the receiving end when someone is using a desktop microphone. If you have headphones, you will be shocked by the deafening "bang", scratches, typing, etc. I would be very interested if anyone (including the manufacturer) has a suggestion as to why the camera is performing so poorly. I go from "to PC" port with the included cable, the only addition being a USB-A to USB-C adapter as I mentioned. Thanks very much! UPDATE: The camera sometimes worked better than the first lags. Other team members reported to me that they had problems with the built-in microphone.
