The picture quality of this model is excellent! Not just excellent "for a toy" but really good quality. It can take so many photos and the kid can continue to take photos at their own pace which is a big plus. My 4 year old finds it easy to use and especially loves the mini games and the digital frame game - there are lots of cute ones on this device. It's a little smaller than expected, but perfect for small hands, and the screen is still a reasonable size and resolution. In terms of durability, I considered taking a star off - it feels like it wouldn't work too well if my husband stepped on it, but it's still completely intact even after I accidentally stepped on it. I expect this will eventually break, and you know what, I'd buy it again anyway. That's a great price. If you can afford it and you have a creative kid, just do it. The hours of joy this brings to my child have been absolutely priceless!
