Review on 🍴 Winco 6-Inch Stainless Steel Strainer: Fine Mesh for Medium Filtering by Karen Gaiser

I was looking for a fine stainless steel screen because the Calphalon screen broke after a few uses. The Calphalon strainer has a handle that is connected to the strainer with 3 spot welds and the welds broke rendering the strainer unusable. The design of this filter looks much stronger. The filter part looks just as good as the Calphalon filter. The same should be done with sifted corned beef foam or small particles from the broth. The metal handle extends under the screen. Therefore, there needs to be more support to keep the handle from breaking. The only potential downside I see is that the colander is a bit more difficult to clean as food debris can get stuck to the handle extensions that go under the colander. It also doesn't have the sturdy rubberized grip that the Calphalon screen has, but that doesn't detract from its functionality. Having used this strainer for a while I will update my review if I have any issues with it. For now it looks like it will serve my purposes.
