We were able to fix an old broken 2005 Honda Accord key using parts from this new key fob. Be sure to save the small chip from the broken key - don't throw it away! It looks like a small piece of black plastic. You must have it for the car to start. You can carefully pry it out of its existing case in an old keychain with a precision knife. Watch some online videos on changing keys and they'll show you how. After extracting it, you must insert it into the new key. Some key fobs have a small slot into which the chip is inserted. It's not, but you can just use some glue to secure it in place. This keychain saved us a few hundred dollars.
