Using an old desktop scanner with a center-loaded antenna. I recently moved about an hour away from the big city I live in. At the moment I'm mainly using it to get weather information (I'll have to reprogram at some point), but that didn't even happen on a cloudy day. I installed this antenna and it picks up the NOAA signal perfectly. It will be interesting to see what else I can get. This time I feel like I haven't been ripped off!
