Review on πŸ’§ Shop Nalgene Kids Grip-N-Gulp Water Bottles: Leak Proof, BPA-Free, Dishwasher Safe & Sustainable! by Ricky Cruise

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Easy to clean, moisture resistant (enough) and durable.

Introduction: I have been buying and using these mugs for my children for five years. I have tried many, many children's cups but this is by far my favorite. As I've ordered orange bottles before, I've received a few different products lately, the difference is that the 'new' jars have no side notches and no measurements. Other than that I prefer the old version but these are still 100% my favorite kids mugs. Price: These kids' spill-proof cups range from $7 to $14 depending on color and sale. Cleaning: There are three parts: bottle, cap, valve. All parts are dishwasher safe and easy to assemble and disassemble. Please note: I wouldn't trust a clear valve floating in a dishwasher, I need a basket so it doesn't get lost or fall off and melt. After years of use and washing, I've never had a problem with mold (unlike a few other mugs I've used). My only issue with these mugs is that the rubber lid ends up looking dirty, but I haven't tried cleaning it so I don't know if the Magic Eraser can make it look brand new. Note that you can purchase replacement valves if lost. Durability: They will break if a car drives over them. but regular falls on concrete are not a problem at all. My kids and I kept dropping them and only once did I find a small tear on the rim of the top of the bottle, but nothing that would change the mug's functionality. Plus, after five years of daily use, the spout still looks good, even with the occasional chew mark. Colors: Beautiful vibrant colors. No fading. I have different colored cups for each child so it's easy to tell which cup is which. Leakage: If the valve is properly installed, it will not leak when on its side or upside down. That is, when the bottle has been used (after filling with liquid, not just used as a whole), the liquid remaining in the spout that has passed through the valve will leak, although this is not much. Size: They fit into standard cup holders very easily. Also, there are milliliter and ounce markings on the side (raised plastic, non-printed markings that will fade or disappear with use) on the old notched version - NOT ON NEW. Customer Service: Nalgene's customer service is fantastic. I called with questions and always got an answer or solution to my problems. good company Photos: Nalgene Kids vs. Camelbak Kids cup comparison, colors, shelf full of five year old cups and "dirty" outer lid. *** Thank you for taking the time to read my review.
