Works great.
Modern flat screen TVs sound like crap. Didn't want to spend more money on another soundbar. So I decided to use an old Altec/Lansing computer speaker system that I already had but no longer used. Problem: Altec had a mini jack input. The LG TV only had a digital (Toslink) optical output. What to do? This adapter solved the problem. Sounds good and includes a downloadable remote control.
