Works well, much safer than trying to use a ball hitch as a tow point.
Ordered to have a strong and safe towing and recovery point when using vehicles not equipped with recovery points. Using the ball on the ball hitch is so unsafe: the ball is not designed for this application and can shear off and turn into a projectile. I used it to haul a dead classic car home the other day.
