This was my first year trying one of these bags and it was one of the best turkeys I have ever cooked. confused as to whether I should have covered the turkey with a lid/foil or just put it in a bag and pan. I just went with the bag and pot with no lid, which worked great. A Few Tips That Might Help Don't overdo the turkey stuffing. You should have enough room to slide your hand in and out of the stuffed bird. Just wrap any extra toppings in foil and toss later. The density depends on the amount and type of spices you put on top. I used paprika, pepper and poultry seasoning which browned well.
