Review on ElecGear NV-2242A USB 3.1 NVMe Enclosure: High-Speed Mini External Aluminum Adapter for PCIe M.2 SSD, 10Gbps Flash Drive with Magnet Cap by Paul Dobson

a rare find but no screw hole for 2230

this is generally a rarity i could only find 2 short nvme cases on the internet namely 2242 and smaller this is because my wife has a new dell inspiron die 2-in-1 5000 series (Intel 11th Gen) came with a 2230 NVME and I upgraded to a much larger and faster NVME, allowing me to take advantage of the small size and performance of a Dell machine with 256GB wanted to use. Something more compact and faster of this comes with ElecGear in the picture, you can see how much smaller it is compared to the popular Subrent, which is already compact and supports up to 2280, it's fast from USB-A 3.1), but since I've got it I bought it with the promise of 2230 compatibility, I was expecting a screw hole to secure it as it has NO screw hole for 2230, only for 2242, at least it comes with thermal pads that are pre-mesh (half cut to small mesh, lightweight rips into small pieces) and somehow holds the drive in place, I'm not sure how it will behave if I accidentally drop the drive, whether the SSD will slide out of the slot or not.
