Just Won't Work - Computer Accessories and Peripherals

I was hoping to use this to connect a Thunderbolt DP cable to another DP cable so I don't have to keep disconnecting the monitor. Each cable works fine independently, but I get no signal when trying to connect two cables. It's not even worth my time to return them for $10. They go in the trash.
