Finding a wireless bluetooth mouse for use with a Macbook Pro, specifically for usage with Adobe programs, was a top priority. I opted for a wireless mouse over a wired one so as not to use up one of my computer's two available USB transmitter slots. Equipped to link up with Mac OS X without any issues. The rubberized sides and smooth top and buttons make this mouse a decent option for extended use. The construction and materials are surprisingly sturdy for the price. Discreet and functional to a fault. The mouse's small size has made it useful as a travel companion, even though I like to use it in a stationary configuration. The new Microsoft Optical 300 wireless mouse is quieter when clicking and scrolling, which I prefer to the prior Microsoft Optical 200 corded mouse I used. Less rapid cursor movement can be observed in comparison to the wired version. Although I am accustomed to this, I have noticed that the first time I use the mouse after turning on the computer, there is a very slight lag in its response. What first caused the greatest discomfort was the height; with extended use, the user may experience hand fatigue. Nonetheless, I've become accustomed to it now.
