I go hiking with my children a lot. I've had several tiny hiking binoculars in the past, but sometimes they just didn't have the power I needed to see the good things in the distance. These binoculars solved that problem for me. These are well built, light weight, durable binoculars. They don't look cheap. The scope of delivery includes covers for the front and rear lenses, a nice cloth bag with neck strap, a binocular neck strap and a lens cleaning cloth. I took them on a good hike and while they are noticeably heavier than the smaller pair I have, the performance justifies the extra weight of the pack. We used them to observe the beautiful moon without adjusting our telescope a few nights ago. Not as powerful as a telescope, but still damn good.
