Excellent brush. I have thick hair and I shed a lot. My husband hates my hairy combs and I hate pulling all the hair out of my combs. When I saw this I said I have to try it and I'm glad I did. The bristles are really strong, even with thick hair like mine, you can get right to the roots, which I don't do very often with brushes. I've been using it for a week and I already had quite a lot of hair and it came off very easily. Much less harsh than pulling it out of the brush. The only thing I would change is that it doesn't retract all the way. The panel is covered with all the little balls on the ends of the bristles when it's recessed so you can't just run a cloth over it to clean it. Although I ran it under the tap and it was very easy to wash. Water did get into the brush but as soon as the bristles were pushed back it all flowed out. Overall I am very satisfied, it's more 4.5* than 4!
