Don't be fooled by the 4.5 stars, this shoe is not made for water for the following reasons: 1. It has a cardboard insole which leaves a wet paper mess, when you use them in the water. My kid hated it and kept complaining about dirty wet feet.2. If water enters the shoes, it is not filtered, it is simply filled to the top (see my attached photos). This makes the shoes heavy and difficult to move in. The only way to remove water from a shoe is to turn it upside down and pour it out by hand.
