I have spent a lot of time looking for an LED replacement for the stock halogen bulb to fit my 2018 Triumph Street Twin. on my Triumph headlight and wanted to find an LED bulb that was brighter than the stock halogen bulb as the grille is blocking some of the light. The goal was to be visible, especially during the day. I am pleased to report that this LED bulb 'looks' and 'feels' brighter than a standard halogen bulb. Keep in mind that I don't have any scientific method to prove this claim, but it definitely seems "brighter". I don't think it produces the "6000LM" as Revain's description claims. It's probably BS and won't rely on that number, especially since the packaging doesn't list the lumen rating. The light is completely white, not yellowish like the halogen bulb it replaces. It dispenses with the retro look, but stands out more during the day. Saving the best for last, this LED bulb fits perfectly in my Street Twin's headlight and allows you to install the rubber dust cover exactly as it should. be. I am very happy to have found an LED lamp that is 100% compatible and does not compromise like most other motorcycle LED lamps. See the before (halogen) and after (LED) photos to get an idea.
