I have an old Panasonic plasma display with a DVI input. I need to connect my new Blu-Ray player to it. The old HDMI to DVI cable I had in the "box" just couldn't handle the signal. Lots of noise in the picture. So I got this adapter and a 10ft HDMI cable (4K UHD HDMI 2.0 Ready - braided cable). It worked! The difference was day and night. The adapter fits exactly. I found the thumbscrews to be easy to finger tighten. The HDMI cable stays firmly in the adapter even though it's pointing down and fighting gravity. I love these adapters and it's good that they are sold in pairs. It's always good to have a spare and the price is so low I would pay the same for one. High quality product at a great price.
