Love the style, like most Vera Bradley styles it is very practical and the new slimmer quilting gives the bag a more refined look. ..and as if that wasn't enough, Hawthorn Rose has such a rich look that I've moved it to my "pro" shelf. I also have a Vera Vera Carson shoulder bag in navy so I now have 2 Smart Professional bags. On the front, under the flap on the magnet, there are 2 large pockets (each half a pocket width). Next is the top main zip pocket with 2 slip pockets for reading glasses, mints or bonus cards, then a zip pocket on the back wall which has another neat little pocket for a phone/media charger and a large eyelet for the charging cable in the large back pocket above the full width with magnetic closure to be passed to your phone or whatever. I actually use this little bag to store tiny purse sized perfumes as I never need to charge my phone on the go. Also, the zip pocket is big enough for me to store all my beauty products that I use when I'm not at home, leaving the main pocket free for an iPad, wallet, sunglasses, etc. This bag is a bit like a TARDIS - more from the inside. It's a deceptive amount of what it actually contains, and I was glad I could fit a full-size iPad in there, as well as my planner and all the other essentials for my daily commute. Finally, I have 2 straps so you can wear it on either shoulder. or crossbody inspired. I always carry it over my shoulder as I like being hands free, so it's nice that the shoulder strap can be detached and stowed away - the same goes if you only use the shoulder strap and want to store the strap over your shoulder.
