Bought to extend the time we spend on our screened in porch now that mornings and evenings are getting chilly. After watching the video I figured I could assemble it myself but the instructions were cryptic and there were a lot of different length screws in the kit so I was confused. (Were they all used? Where?) It ended up having to hire a handyman who assembled it in about 10 minutes (but he had a few screws left that he didn't use). In any case, the tripod heater is very durable and we love the adjustable height. The long cord means we can position it near or far from our lounge chairs as our needs change. The amount of heat is perfect for beating off the chill when sitting outside on a chilly morning (50 years old today) with a light blanket on my lap and a cup of coffee. This heater will not heat an outdoor porch or patio, but infrared heat directed at a chair or chairs will comfortably warm those seated in the chairs. The device looks high quality and does exactly what I was hoping for. Maybe you can pack better than us, and if so, you can do it in 10 minutes. For me it was worth calling a jack of all trades for the installation. We love the heater and we're going to get a lot of use out of it this fall. This is especially important for those of us in home isolation or quarantine who need to make the most of our limited outdoor spaces.
