Soft and comfortable! I have flat feet so elastic straps and adjustable velcro straps are a plus for the fit. Moderate arch support but better than most flat sandals. What I really like about them is the fabric insole, when it's hot it's cooler on the foot than leather or vinyl. But remember that it also wears out faster; I have another pair of similar Locusts that only have two short summer seasons and are looking pretty dirty and worn out at the moment. However, these are my favorite summer sandals for comfort and looks.
