I bought 2 of these filters a few weeks ago. They were a bit difficult to install and match with my HVAC filter drop down system for one reason only. They are heavier than paper filters and do not stay in place while the system is on. This in no way affects the quality of this product. It's a very durable filter that can be washed and reused, which is why I researched and bought the filter. I used to spend $15-$20 on 3M paper filters typically every 3 months. When Trophy filters work as advertised, they pay for themselves in 18 months or more. The extra effort of installing and configuring it on my system was worth it. I can't comment on the ease of care as I've only been using them for 3 weeks. I'll post another review about it in a few months when it's time to clean the filters.
