The pattern is only on one side and it is very thin. The kids don't care.

The colors and pattern on this duvet are exactly as pictured but I was definitely disappointed that the pattern is only on one side and is very thin. None of my children (girls 3 years and 9 months) chose this blanket. It feels smooth but not too soft because it's thin. It's not perfectly rectangular and doesn't quite stretch out, which annoys me. Overall good but I won't buy it again. I prefer a duvet with at least two thin layers, and I definitely prefer a duvet with a pattern on both sides.
