Proper torque for this gasket on a 2007 Saturn Aura XE is 8.9 feet. pounds or 206 in-lbs. You use a star pattern to tighten the bolts and test your torque with a counter-clockwise pattern on the oil pan bolts. This is straight out of the official Saturn GM repair manual. Have a mechanic check the fluid level. There is no oil dipstick and it must be checked when the engine and transmission are warm. Mine used 6 and 2/3 liters of fluid with the filter change. If you are not replacing the filter, use 6 1/3 quarts of fluid. If you use a gasket replacement, you can also get a transmission drain plug pan for future maintenance.
