Review on πŸƒ Nathan Quick Shot Plus Portable Hydration Pack by Amber Berry

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Makes a great small water bottle for my walking toddler.

i bought this for my 5 year old daughter who runs with me. She ran 4 miles and asked for her own water bottle (I always run with my Nathan Quick Draw bottle) but mine is too big for her so after some research I found it would fit in her small hand. too big and I don't fill the bottle all the way (she still has to rotate her arms like I do with a running bottle because of the water weight) but this bottle is ergonomically the most comfortable for her small hands. I pulled an adjustable velcro strap all the way down, there is a little play but that's not a problem because her thumb goes through the top loop and the bottle still sits comfortably in her palm. The bottle is meant to be squeezed quickly to squeeze water out, but because her hands are too small to squeeze the bottle, she altered her water intake by turning the bottle upside down and taking a quick sip of water and sucking it up; We haven't had any problems with these types of bottles leaking. but she only uses it in motion, keeps it upright and cannot squeeze it. I usually toss my Nathan bottles over the top shelf of the dishwasher to sterilize them occasionally and realize it's not the easiest bottle to get them out of the dishes, but then again, I only fill their bottle with water, so it is it's not a problem because we don't do it. Don't shoot it too often. For the record, I'm a petite 5'1" female in a 4-6 outfit with fairly small hands and it fits my hands perfectly. Probably not ideal for very large hands/grips and doesn't carry a lot of water, but great for small runs with people with small to medium grips.
