I've been using a Bradley 4-Rack Digital Smoker for almost a year. A few weeks ago I tried to smoke something at a maximum temperature of 320 degrees. During an hour of preheating, the device could only reach 265 degrees. This was my first time attempting to reach 320 degrees, so I don't know if this was a new problem or if it was always there. I put another thermometer in the oven to check the digital readings, which were accurate. I called Bradley and they recommended cleaning the internal thermometer (although it was accurate). It didn't fix it. So I decided to try this new thermal bar. The temperature reached 320 degrees in 35 minutes and it was quite chilly and windy outside. So I'm very happy. The exchange was not easy. But any man who has a smokehouse should be able to handle it. It took 30 minutes. A key for 7 would be very useful which I didn't have. I took the opportunity to clean the inside very well before installing the new one. Hope it lasts long. But I think I'll buy another one, just keep it as a spare.
