Gets the job done

First review only, only used one day. This is a 14-port, 4-port USB model. (four cans high). The concept is neat, it works well on my small side workbench where space is limited. I wouldn't use the traditional stripe. Here's what you need to know, based on the box (and using the box's English language, which appears to have been translated using Google Translate). "Space-saving, fashionable color, overload protection and key control. "Independent control switch, free to control according to needs, protect the device and save energy." "Can be equipped with more USB ports, the constant current for each USB port can be up to 2.1A, charge mobile and all kinds of digital products, and meet your power needs in a variety of environments." "Overload protection cuts off high voltage quickly" "Longest power cord length 6 feet" And specifications, also in English : Overvoltage protection class up to 780 J. Rated current 110-250 V Rated current 13 A 16 AWG WFrequency 50/60Hz Material : ABS + flame retardant Overload protection USB: yes Constant voltage for USB 5V DC for USB 2.1A Cable length: 6 ft And hey, it has " Thunder Protection"! , I've only used it briefly, hooked up a tester to make sure it's plugged in properly. All ports (14 sockets) seem to work. USB not tried yet. The cord has an internal spool which I wasn't expecting, I was confused as to why it had a 3 inch cord when I first unpacked it but then I realized you can spool it. It's convenient to only keep the cable for as long as you need it. .I don't have big problems with looks. It's a little tasteless, yes, but oh well. The LEDs are too bright for my liking, but I don't always turn them on, only when I don't necessarily want to leave them on in a dark bedroom. When you turn off power to a specific power supply, you also turn off the corresponding LED. If everything works, it's not bad for the price. The only thing I stumble upon (again considering the price) is that I wish the base was significantly heavier. I'll investigate later if I can add my own weights. I think I'll try sharing the base first. and see if I can put a weight in there, and if that doesn't work, maybe tape a sheet of lead to the floor.

Pros
  • MULTIPLE OUTLETS AND USB - Tower Vertical Surge Protector All outlets and ports are distributed vertically on the four sides of the Tower Vertical Surge Protector, allowing adequate space between each outlet, saving space and eliminating the risk of electrocution . risk of shock. Has 14 sockets and 4 USB ports. Each 2 vertical high power USB ports with ultra high current rating of 3.1A, 5VDC. The maximum power your devices allow is up to 3.1A when only one port is used.
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
