I found the sub fix

To switch from "optical" to "additional" you have to quickly slide the power button towards the bluetooth icon and let it go back instead of bluetooth to Turn on/off pairing with the device. and vice versa, to switch to optical, slide the power button towards the Bluetooth icon and release it. Note that the send/receive switch is in receive mode for these actions.
